Check the speed of your internet connection using the most accurate and popular speed test for your mobile and desktop.

Speeds can vary at different times of the day based on how many people are connected to the internet and what they are doing on it. To get a better understanding of the speeds in your home or business we recommend testing your speed at different times, including outside of peak periods from 7pm-11pm in the evening.
Check no other people or devices are using the internet in your home or business when you run the test, as others using your internet connection can affect your results.
Connecting directly from your PC to the modem rather than using wifi will often give more accurate resutls. The device you run the test on can also affect your result
Reboot your modem (watch how-to video) and devices by powering them off and back on for optimal performance
Connect your computer directly to your modem with an Ethernet cable (CAT5e or CAT6).
Turn off wifi on your computer and unplug your router (if you have one) from your modem. Disconnect from any VPN's.
Close all other programs, applications, and browser tabs on your computer to eliminate network congestion
ake sure your modem is DOCSIS 3.0 or higher (DOCSIS 3.1 for Gigablast)—older modems can't process high speeds.
Check the owner’s manual for your device to find out if it's capable of processing high speeds. Even many recently-purchased computers and laptops are not capable of broadband speeds.
Make sure you have the latest updates installed for your computer’s operating system and Internet browser (be sure to remove unused plugins/extensions)
